Next, restart the computer to see whether the computer has received the drive or not. If not, turn to step 2.

Step 2: Press “Alt+R” key combination to display Run window and then you type "Regedit" keyword and press OK.

Registry Editor window appears, click following items in turn:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM ->CurrentControlSet -> Control -> Class -> {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Look on the right column, right click UpperFilters and LowerFilters and select Delete

After pressing Delete, restart the computer to see whether it has received the disk drive or not.

If not, continue step 3.

Step 3: Open Command Prompt window (refer to the article 6 steps to start Command Prompt on Windows 7).

Type the following command in Command Prompt box: bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTERGRITY_CHECK

If “The operation completed successfully” notification is displayed, it means that you have been succeeded. The next step is to restart the computer.
