Windows XP 32 bit – receive 4GB RAM by DEP

By Laura

It is still the problems of not getting 4GB of RAM of Windows XP 32 bit but by DEP

Windows XP 32 bit by default does not get 4GB when installing the operating system, besides fixing this by extended memory configuration in boot.ini expand, there is still another way. ( Fix the error of not getting 4GB of RAM in Boot.ini )

Just enable DEP (stands for Data Execution Prevention) for all programs instead of only some services and programs of the operating system.

This way you do not need to care about the boot.ini file.

RECEIVING TREATMENT 4GB of RAM on Windows 32 BIT BY DEP

Step 1: Right click on My Computer and choose Advanced

Step 2: Click Settings in Performance, go to DEP configuration window.

Step 3: Go to DataExecutionPrevention -> tick Turn on DEP for all programs and services except for those I select.

Step 4: Click " Apply" and reset the computer
